These terms apply to ProMedia Web (“ProMedia”, “the service”), provided by Brainify. By using the website you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
The service
ProMedia is a free collection of media tools that run entirely in your web browser. We may add, change or remove tools at any time. Because processing happens on your device, results depend on your browser, hardware and available memory.
Your content
- You keep all rights to the files you open and the files you create. We never receive them.
- ProMedia never changes your original files; every result is a new file that you choose to save.
- You are responsible for having the rights needed to edit, convert or publish the media you process.
Acceptable use
Please don’t use ProMedia to:
- infringe copyright or other rights, or remove watermarks or protection from content you don’t have the rights to;
- create or process unlawful content, or harass, impersonate or deceive people (for example with altered voices or images);
- attack, overload or scrape our servers, or interfere with other people’s use of the service.
AI features
AI tools run open models on your device. Their output — captions, transcripts, translations, cut-outs, voices — can contain mistakes. Review results before you rely on or publish them. Models are provided by third parties under their own licences.
Open-source components
ProMedia is built on open-source software such as FFmpeg, Mediabunny, ONNX Runtime and transformers.js, each under its own licence. The full list, with licences and source links, is on the licenses page.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Keep your originals — we can’t recover files, because we never have them.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Brainify is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
The ProMedia Android app is distributed through Google Play and is also subject to Google Play’s terms.
