JPG to PDF Converter

Convert JPG to PDF in your browser: add one photo or a hundred, drag them into order and get a single PDF with A4, Letter or image-sized pages. Photos are turned the right way up, and original JPGs can go in untouched, without another round of compression. PNG, HEIC and WebP images work too. Your documents are never uploaded, and there is no watermark.

How to convert JPG to PDF

  2. Step 2: Drag the thumbnails into page order. The first image becomes page 1.

A4, Letter or Fit image: which page size to choose

Pick A4 or Letter when the PDF will be printed or submitted as a document, and Fit image when it will only be read on screen. Converting screenshots or iPhone photos specifically? The PNG to PDF and HEIC to PDF pages are set up for those.

Margins: None, Small (about 6 mm) or Large (about 13 mm). Orientation and margins apply to A4 and Letter only.

Will image quality be affected when converting JPG to PDF?

Not visibly at the default settings. On A4 and Letter pages each image is scaled to about 250 pixels per inch at the size it is printed, which is sharp on paper and on screen, then compressed as a JPEG at your Image quality. At 95% or more, upright JPGs skip that step entirely and are placed in the PDF byte for byte.

A 12-megapixel phone photo (4032 px on the long side) is reduced to these sizes, which keeps the PDF small without visible loss. Fit image pages keep up to 6,000 px.

How to combine multiple JPGs into one PDF

Add all the images in one go: hold Ctrl or ⌘ to pick several files, or drop a whole selection from a folder. Every image becomes one page, in the order shown. Drag a thumbnail to move a page; remove one with its close button. Mixed shapes are fine: with Auto orientation, a landscape photo gets a landscape page while portrait scans stay upright.

Photos taken sideways on a phone are turned upright using their EXIF orientation, so you do not need to rotate them first.

Convert JPG to PDF on iPhone, Android, Windows 11 or Mac

This page works the same in every modern browser. Each system also has a built-in route; it is useful for one image, but rarely lets you choose page size or compression.

iPhone and iPad

In the Files app, select images and choose Create PDF. To control order, page size and file size, open this page in Safari and add the photos from your library.

Android

Open this page in Chrome, tap the box and pick the photos. The PDF is saved to Downloads, ready to attach or upload.

Windows 10 and 11

Select images in File Explorer, choose Print and pick Microsoft Print to PDF. This page keeps your exact order and margins and never crops a photo.

Mac

In Finder, select images and use Quick Actions → Create PDF, or export from Preview. Use this page when you need A4 or Letter pages with margins.

Is it safe to convert JPG to PDF online?

Upload-based converters receive a copy of every page, which matters when the pages are ID cards, payslips or medical letters. Here the PDF is assembled inside your browser and never leaves your device.

The PDF’s title is the file name (or “12 images”) and nothing else about you is added. At the default quality the photos are re-encoded, so camera details and GPS location are not carried over. At 95% or more, original JPGs go in as they are, metadata included; strip it first with remove EXIF if a photo was taken at home.

Send a JPG as a PDF on WhatsApp or by email

Create the PDF here, then attach it in WhatsApp as a Document rather than a photo, so it is not compressed; documents can be up to 2 GB. For an upload portal that asks for a PDF under a few hundred KB, lower Image quality to 60–70% or shrink the photos first with the image resizer.

Tips & troubleshooting

  • Scans of text look crisper with Small margins and A4 than with Fit image, because they print at a predictable size.

  • Need each photo under a hard KB limit rather than the whole PDF? Use compress image to KB before converting.

  • Want the text in a scanned page to be searchable or copyable? Run it through image to text first.

  • Converting a screenshot with transparency? It is kept as a PNG page, so no black corners appear.

JPG to PDF (Images to PDF) FAQ

How do I convert JPG to PDF?

Add the JPG files on this page, drag them into order, pick a page size and press Create PDF. The PDF is made in your browser and downloaded straight away. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on the number of pages.

How do I combine multiple JPGs into one PDF?

Select all the JPGs at once (or add them in several goes), drag the thumbnails into the order you want and create the PDF. Each image becomes one page of the same document.

Will the image quality be reduced?

At the default 85% the pages look the same as the photos. Images larger than needed for the page are scaled to about 250 dpi. Set Image quality to 95% or more to place original upright JPGs untouched.

How do I make a JPG to PDF file under 200 KB?

Lower Image quality to 60–70% and check the estimated size shown before you create the PDF. For several pages, resize the photos to about 1,500 px on the long side first; that is still clear on screen.

Can I add PNG, HEIC or WebP images too?

Yes. Any image your browser or ProMedia can decode works, including HEIC from iPhones, WebP, AVIF, TIFF and PNG. Transparent images keep their transparency as PNG pages; everything else becomes JPEG pages.

Are your documents uploaded anywhere?

No. Your documents are processed by your own browser on your own device. There is no server that receives files, so nothing is uploaded, stored or shared. You can even switch to airplane mode once the page has loaded.
