Convert audio to MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or OGG
The MP3 converter turns any audio or video file into an MP3 at 64 to 320 kbps. For other targets, the audio converter writes WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG and Opus with your choice of bitrate, sample rate and bit depth, and the audio bitrate converter adds CBR or VBR and tag editing. Cut, trim and join audio files
The MP3 cutter trims a track on its waveform and adds a fade in or out of up to 10 seconds. The ringtone maker saves an iPhone .m4r of up to 40 seconds or an Android MP3. The audio joiner merges tracks with crossfades or gaps, and you can remove silence from audio to tighten a recording.
Make audio louder, quieter or more even
The volume booster raises or lowers a file by up to 20 dB, with a limiter that stops clipping. To normalize audio, pick −14 LUFS for streaming, −16 for podcasts or −23 for broadcast. The bass booster has presets and ten bands with a live preview, and compress audio shrinks the file size, not the dynamics.
Change speed or pitch and add effects
The audio speed changer plays a file 0.5× to 2× as fast with the pitch kept natural, while the pitch changer moves up to 12 semitones without changing the tempo. Remove vocals or background noise
The vocal remover (Beta) removes or isolates vocals mixed in the centre of a stereo song, which suits most pop tracks; vocals in a mono file cannot be separated this way. To remove background noise such as hiss and hum from speech, the noise reducer runs a small AI model in your browser.
Record, transcribe and find the BPM
The voice recorder saves your microphone to MP3, WAV or M4A. Audio to text transcribes a recording to TXT, SRT or VTT on your device (WhatsApp audio to text takes voice notes directly), and text to speech goes the other way with English voices. The BPM finder detects a song’s tempo locally.
Turn audio into a video
